Do not work for criminals
It is a bad idea to work for someone you consider to be a criminal. Very often in life we cannot avoid being of assistance to people we do not like... for example we might fight against a form of oppression which also gives freedom to our enemies. In a market economy we might work in a shop which is willing to serve bad people so by our work we indirectly assist criminals. Whilst this may be true we certainly have the opportunity to avoid working directly for a criminal. If we think the person who is buying our labour is a criminal it is likely that we will find it difficult to do a good job for them. It is likely that we will seek to sabotage their interests and hence we will be a bad employee. We need to work for someone we consider to be innocent... someone for whom we have empathy. If we do not have empathy for our employer then we will not be able to do a very good job and we will fail.
