Statists are in denial of reality

We are insane if we deny what is true and if we complain to others (or even to ourselves) that what is assumed to be true is not true when in fact it is then we are wasting our time. It is a waste of our time to deny what is true. Even if we do not like the laws of nature or the passage of time there is not much point complaining about it. We might not like being rejected by others but, again, there is not much point complaining about it... we can only improve ourselves to make ourselves more agreeable. To fail to accept the truth is to hurt ourselves. One consolation is that the truth is the same for everybody. With statism we are upset at the apparently 'selfish' individuals who are reluctant to give some (or all) of their money to the state. It is like a criminal being upset that they are even required to do the crime. To be a statist is to be upset at the world and in denial of reality.
