Capitalism is a bit like a collective farm

Capitalism can be seen as a free form of collective farming. (Free in the sense that you are not obligated to join the farm.) It is like collective farming in that when we sell our labour to a firm in return we receive a portion of their profits. This is similar to working on a collective farm where in return for our labour we receive a portion of the harvest.
