Definition of a question

A question is when we ask someone else to give proof and justification for a truth claim. For example a pharmacist may have developed a drug which they claim cures a disease. We might ask: What evidence do you have that this drug works? And they would prove the evidence of their medical trial. Another example would be in a court of law where the prosecution would be requred to show evidence that the accused is guilty. We would ask: What makes you think this person is guilty? In both cases the person asking the question is asking for information and evidence which supports the claims made by another person.

A question is a way to verify the validity of another person's claims.
